Client Terms & Conditions
George Archer
RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy®) Therapist, Coach & Certified Hypnotherapist
george@georgearcher.co.uk
These Terms & Conditions apply to consultations, Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) sessions and programmes provided by George Archer.
Please read them carefully before booking. By booking an appointment or programme with me, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Consultations
A consultation provides an opportunity to discuss what you would like support with, explore your goals and assess whether RTT® and my current scope of practice are appropriate for you.
A consultation does not guarantee that I will be able to work with you. Where I believe another practitioner or form of support would be more appropriate, I will be open with you about this.
Payment and booking
Consultations and RTT® programmes are payable in full at the time of booking. Your appointment is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Where a payment plan has been agreed in advance, the terms of that arrangement will be confirmed separately.
Any additional fees, including rescheduling fees or additional consultations where applicable, must be paid before the relevant appointment takes place.
14-day cooling-off period
If you book online, you may have a legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days of booking.
If your consultation or RTT® session is scheduled to take place within that 14-day period, by choosing to proceed with the appointment you are requesting that the service begins during the cooling-off period.
Once the booked service has been fully provided, your right to cancel and receive a refund for that completed service will end. Where part of a programme has already been provided, any refund due will take account of the proportionate value of the services already provided.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Cancellation and refunds
Consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
RTT® programme sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made after these notice periods, and missed appointments, are non-refundable, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
Where the required notice is given, appointments may be rescheduled in accordance with the rescheduling terms set out in these Terms & Conditions.
Programme fees are generally non-refundable once the programme has begun, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
Where you exercise a statutory right to cancel after services have already begun, any refund due will take account of the proportionate value of the services already provided.
Unused sessions that expire at the end of the applicable programme validity period are non-refundable.
Client rescheduling
A maximum of two client-requested changes to a programme schedule is permitted.
The first change is free. A second change will incur a £25 rescheduling fee.
Where one RTT® programme session is moved, subsequent sessions may also need to be adjusted to preserve the appropriate integration period between treatments, including the recommended listening period for your personalised recording.
Any practitioner-led adjustment to subsequent sessions for this reason will not count as an additional client-requested reschedule.
Any further request to change the programme schedule will be at my discretion and may result in the affected session being forfeited.
All rescheduled appointments must remain within the applicable programme validity period unless otherwise agreed with me.
Practitioner rescheduling
I reserve the right to reschedule an appointment where reasonably necessary.
Wherever possible, I will provide at least 24 hours’ notice for consultations and 48 hours’ notice for RTT® programme sessions.
In an emergency or exceptional circumstance, shorter notice may be unavoidable.
Any appointment I reschedule will be rearranged at no additional cost to you and will not count towards your permitted client-requested reschedules.
Programme validity and unused sessions
The Breakthroughis a single-treatment programme and is booked for a specific appointment.
For The Rewire and The Next Chapter, all included RTT® sessions must be completed within four months of the original programme payment date, unless otherwise agreed with me in exceptional circumstances.
If we both agree that no further sessions are required for the original issue, any remaining sessions may be used to work on another suitable issue or for another therapeutic session agreed between us, provided they are used within the programme validity period.
Unused sessions are non-transferable and may only be used by the client who originally purchased the programme.
Any unused sessions remaining after the programme validity period will expire and will not be refunded.
Additional RTT® sessions and consultations
A consultation is generally required before beginning RTT® work on a particular issue.
If you choose to book a further The Breakthrough session, a separate consultation may not be necessary. Where appropriate, we can discuss the new issue briefly at the start of the RTT® session itself.
If I determine that a fuller consultation is required before a further The Breakthrough session, this consultation will be included within the current The Breakthrough price.
Additional The Breakthrough bookings are charged at the current The Breakthrough rate, currently £495, regardless of whether a separate consultation is required.
If you choose to use an unused session from The Rewire or The Next Chapterto work on a different issue, I will assess whether a separate consultation is needed.
Where a separate consultation is required in those circumstances, it will be charged at the current consultation rate, currently £135, and this will be discussed with you in advance.
Contact between sessions
You may contact me between sessions by email at george@georgearcher.co.uk for practical questions relating to your programme.
I will aim to respond within one working day.
Contact between sessions is not intended to replace a scheduled therapy session, and I may suggest that more substantial therapeutic issues are discussed during your next appointment.
Medical and psychological conditions
I may ask about your medical and mental-health history to assess whether RTT® is suitable for you and whether your needs fall within my current scope of practice.
If you are currently receiving care or treatment from a GP, psychologist, psychiatrist, counsellor or another healthcare professional, I may ask you to obtain their approval before therapy begins.
I am currently unable to offer RTT® to clients who have epilepsy, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, another psychotic disorder, or dissociative identity disorder (DID).
RTT® is not a replacement for medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment.
You should not stop or alter prescribed medication or treatment without first speaking to the relevant qualified healthcare professional.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about any relevant medical or mental-health conditions and informing me of significant changes during our work together.
Age restrictions
I currently work with adults aged 18 and over only.
Attending your sessions
Sessions are provided online via Google Meet or Zoom. Your joining link will be provided in your booking confirmation.
Please make sure you are available and ready at your scheduled start time, with a stable internet connection and a private, comfortable, safe space where you will not be interrupted.
If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to provide the full session, but this may not always be possible where I have another appointment afterwards.
You must not attend a session under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
If you attend under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, or behave in a threatening, abusive or unsafe way, I may end the session and refuse further appointments without refund.
Hypnotherapy recordings
Any personalised hypnotherapy recording provided to you is for your own private use only and must not be shared, copied, sold or distributed.
Do not listen to a hypnotherapy recording while driving, operating machinery or carrying out any activity that requires your full attention.
Where a personalised recording forms part of your programme, you agree to listen to it as recommended, usually for a minimum of 21 days, unless we agree otherwise.
Outcomes of sessions
RTT® is designed to support meaningful change, but individual results vary and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
I will always use my best efforts, professional judgement and skills to support you towards the goals we agree together.
Your participation, openness and commitment to the process also play an important part in the work.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with me during consultations, therapy sessions and related communication will be treated as confidential.
Confidentiality may be broken where:
you give me permission to share information;
I am required to disclose information by law;
I believe there is a serious or immediate risk of harm to you or another person; or
safeguarding concerns arise involving a child or vulnerable person.
I may discuss aspects of client work confidentially for professional supervision or professional support. I will not disclose information that identifies you unless you have given permission or disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law.
Data protection
Your personal information will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Privacy Policy and understand how your personal data will be used in connection with your consultation, therapy sessions and related administration.

Concerns and complaints
If you have a concern or complaint about any aspect of your consultation, therapy or the service you receive, please contact me in the first instance at george@georgearcher.co.uk so I have the opportunity to understand and address it.
I will aim to respond to any complaint promptly, fairly and professionally.
Ending the therapeutic relationship
You are free to end therapy at any time, subject to the payment, cancellation and refund provisions contained in these Terms & Conditions.
I also reserve the right to end our work together if I believe continuing would no longer be appropriate, safe, professionally responsible or within my scope of practice.
This may include circumstances involving a breakdown in the therapeutic relationship, repeated non-attendance, inadequate engagement with the process, unsafe or abusive behaviour, or where another form of support would be more appropriate.
Where possible, I will discuss this with you openly and help you consider appropriate next steps.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are based outside England and Wales, you may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws applicable in your country of residence.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms & Conditions or the services provided will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Agreement to these terms
By booking an appointment or programme with me, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You also confirm that the information you provide during booking, consultation and intake is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
