What's Really
Holding You Back?

A moment to stop, reflect and explore the beliefs that may be standing between you and the life you want to live.

Transformational Therapist & Confidence Coach

Part One — Awareness

Where are you
holding yourself back?

You can be capable, successful and accomplished, yet still find yourself hesitating, overthinking or questioning your worth.

The first step is noticing where those patterns appear in your life. There's no right or wrong answer. Just be curious.

QUESTION 01
Where in your life do you feel you're playing smaller than you want to?
Think about your career, relationships, confidence, boundaries or opportunities.
QUESTION 02
What do you find yourself avoiding, even though part of you wants to do it?
Perhaps it's speaking up, being seen, making a decision or putting yourself first.
QUESTION 03
What do you tell yourself in those moments?
Notice the words that come up. "I'm not ready." "I'm not good enough." "What if I fail?"
Part Two — Understanding

What have you come
to believe about yourself?

Sometimes, the thoughts that hold us back feel so familiar that we stop questioning whether they're actually true.

A belief isn't necessarily a fact. It may be something you've learned through experience, repetition or the messages you've received.

QUESTION 04
If that critical voice had one main message, what would it be?
Try writing it as a simple statement beginning with "I am..." or "I can't..."
QUESTION 05
Is that belief an unquestionable truth, or is it a story you've learned?
What evidence challenges that belief? What might you say to a friend who believed it?
QUESTION 06
What would you choose to believe about yourself instead?
Choose something meaningful and believable, rather than something you feel you should say.
Part Three — Your Next Chapter

Imagine what changes
when you stop holding back.

Take a moment to consider what could become possible if the belief you've identified no longer had the same influence over you.

QUESTION 07
What would you do differently if you trusted yourself more?
QUESTION 08
What's one small step you could take towards that today?
Ready to go deeper?
